Wild and free.
Taking what she wants,
When she wants.
She is a wolf.
A beast,
Among beasts.
Primal and free.
Her will is strong,
Perhaps too.
Though many have tired,
To tame the beast.
Tried and failed,
She still runs free.
Hiding the damage,
That others have done.
Trusting near to none,
Guarding her heart.
Saving her soul.
Untamed and alone.

duddle146over 17 years agoLife with its ups and downs ~ damaged by others she still goes her solitary way - trusting no one - still untamed. A bittersweet mood pervades this beautiful poem.
