Mind turning,
Sleepless night.
Night after night.
Always the same.

The haunting past,
Slammed into a wall.
Jacked up and rapped.
Always the same.

The one you loved,
Had other thoughts.
You where his,
And that was that.

Take what was his,
Either it given freely.
Or taken forcefully.
Always the same.

To dull the pain,
Another pill.
Another drink.
Just to sleep.

Just another day,
Just another night.
Just another shot,
Just another pill.
