the man swam across a stream
the current swept his magic wand away
then lazy nap at the shore
butterflies landing nearby

a small girl watched the man
the magician shielded his eyes
and nodded
now he had to relearn his magic

the girl grew up
it's yours she said
oh--it's you he said
he glanced at the wand
and she vanished

he remembers the streams
and butterflies
and the girl
it was always you he marvels

Wonderful poem Senna

Guess the magic is still there after all. :)

I am glad you published this one here, Seena. I've read it before in PFD and I like it very much.

It intrigues me like a dream that is more than reality, like a meeting point of two parallel universes, like a love that it was not meant to be.

5ed & recommended.
