38 Degrees Celsius

The temperature soars suddenly
Leaving her in tiny shorts
Seducing me with plunging necklines
Leaving me hungry with promises
Of the charms that lie beneath

A breeze, warm, almost stifling
Runs its fingers through her hair
Drawing a sigh from her lips
As she gazes out at the sun
From behind her diva glasses

She's a walking trend
Following every lie and false promise
A magazine super model
And yet...
She holds me captivated

This girl who is everything
That my twenty years despises
Leaves my heart jumping in my chest
My mouth suddenly parched and dry
At her appearance next to me

That which holds me is not
The magazine elements of beauty
Or the way she flips her hair
But just how unknowing she is
Of her own sweet charms

this is nice work

It's passionate and vivid and reminded me of Nabokov's Lolita in that it's both lustful and condemning at the same time. Well done, and welcome.

Wow!

You have such a great way of making your prose just ooze emotion. Loved it!
