First the outside of her thigh
A clean short slash.
If anyone asks, she bumped into the desk.
Second the palm of her hand
A small pin prick
If anyone asks, it was a thumb tack.
Third her upper arm
A slash a bit longer then the one on her thigh.
If anyone asks, Lord Raymonds cat did it.
Looking in the mirror
Her face is pale, more then normal
She runs the tip of the blade along her neck,
Drawing a dab of blood behind her ear.
"You make me sick" she whispers to herself
as she washes the blade.
Blood runs down her leg
and arms
trickling from behind her ear
as she enters the shower,
washing herself clean
freeing herself of the sin she's committed
Body dripping she exits the bathroom
Confronting a full length mirror..
Looking at herself
The women she's become
What happened to the girl she was?
All lost before 7am, on A bloody tuesday.
