In my dream satan said
"The fate of every soul
is predetermined"

I looked him in the eye
and said "you lie"

The Prince of Lies smiled
Beautiful he was
Dark and hot;
magnetic, electric, erotic

He tried to draw me in
To suck me down into his
hot, steamy hole
of pestilence

I fought him

Part of me wanted to
give in
Succumb
Let him drain my will
Have my body,
My soul

Down I'd sink
so easy, warm, slippery
sucking, melting

NO!!!

"I know you," I said
"You will not have me tonight"
I reached out towards the light

Day broke
I found myself safe in my bed

But the smell of sulfur lingered

"We will play again"
he whispered in my ear
as I arose

Though you could have had such fun

If she awoke next morning

And looked to the other side of her bed

To see...
