Click hereI pull you through my mouth
with twistongue echos repeating
double stop rhymes and such
so and so and sorry so
but know now I know you know
what likes it might like be
behind these star crossed eyes
you see I see what you see
through the shattered mirror
a cat can grin and gurn
to lead through it all after all
anyway and anyway you want it
that's the way you need it
words shape the vision
as vision shape the words
the small letter deference
between togue and tongue
made you look
and look twice
gotcha
spellcheck spellbounce
still to break my spell
with words chosen as carefully
as old faded letters
I shoulda coulda discarded
so-so long ago
yet keep keepsakes forsaken
in old boxes forgotten
on loan to remember again
when I can pay it forward
in minute minutes
or long hours held after class
disfunctional funtioning
as literally illiterate I
overly overcame and again
laws define fine splitting lines
we walk to show our skill
the crowd holds its breathe
and secretly dont it
hopes for us to fall
changing appearances at will. TK U MLJ LV NV
This poem ignites my fires of curosity. Seems very twisted yet was an enjoyable read. How skillfully your literary brush strokes the computer screen to the delight of your readers.
I enjoyed this one very much. I had to take a mental step sideways, but I do that often enough. And once I had done that, the obsessive monkey-brain somewhat at bay, I could let it flow through me, and the essence made sense. Very clever this dyslexic mirror, and evocative.
