These dreams I had have blown on
As twilight of all that used light
So summer is as far as it gets away
Remember dances we once had
We thought could ferment our future
Sealed against passion's passing night
Saving our souls in venti goui folds
Bottled in a burning baobab's breast
A prosthetic extension to ward the tossing
For the crossing guard at our crossing

I am not yet so afraid of dying
Having done it too much before
All my wonts are neatly wanted
Save for one final one of one
To hold you in deep my mouth
In what last moments I may have
So shall you be that last thing
That lingers there on my lips
A final kiss to wherever you are
Twinkle twinkle my little star

This love I had still leads me on
E’en though they say she is ever lost
Adrift in an uncharted ocean
These thousand islands undressing
Have taken her for their misused lover
I see now out past those heaving breakers
My charms aloft, my candle alight
I burn for a body others have having
Yet tide calls to land all things at sea
So I know she someday returns to me

Maman Brigitte with your wily ways
Would you help this tongue tied Orpheus
If he sang you all his dirty flirty songs
And laid a hot kiss across your ear
While your husband was away
For this small favor could you blow
With your sultry deep dark lips
Me back my love to me someday
For I am so very sick of the strains of sorrow
I have my hell; hoping for heaven tomorrow
