I said too much over dinner with a date yesterday,
He was uncomfortable I could tell
Did that just come out of my mouth?
Did I talk about all the leather and the pain?
Searching for sudden subject change.

He looks out the window, watching the cars
I bite my lip, not wanting to know what he is thinking
I said way to much again, letting my mouth run
He was offended I could tell it in his eyes
A white lie, I could have just let it slip by

Find one soon, cover yourself girl
He asked a simple "What do you like to do"
You let it all rip apart, the things that no one
understands
The way he looks at me has changed, did you see that?
I went from cute and bubbly to totally flat.

He glances over at me, leans back in his chair and
crosses his arms
Here it goes, you wanted someone to ask about it
Is this my fault? Maybe I tried too hard, just want to be honest
I see his mouth move, but I really only hear a
sentence very loud
"You like to be hit, are you kidding me?"
Did more people join this crowd?

He fidgets around in his chair, I play with the salt and pepper shakers
Looks at me, squints and chuckles out loud to
himself
Under his breath I hear Him say something, the words I can not hear
I glance over at the Gentleman with the goatee, a big man with a bald head
Is that one of them I think in my mind. The so called Dominant that I have read about

I stare at him a little while, and clear my throat,
take a drink of water from the glass
It has sweat all over it and I wipe my now wet hand on the tablecloth
Oh yes, how great is that. Now that is the ideal
dinner table no-no.
He sort of snickers to himself , and lays a 50 on the table.
Sorry dear, you are too much for me. I just don't
understand
Another man who doesn't get it slips right through my hands.
