Beautiful, pure beauty
He thought as he watched her
Following her every move with
His deep and dark eyes
So perfect for his little game
His web of deceit and lies
Catching her attention, with that
Heart stopping smile, trademark, copyright
Only he could pull it off.

Pefection personified
She thought when she saw him
That smile had her captured
Blinded by her fantasy
That he was her true love, forever
She didn't see the truth
Letting go of reality

My pet, My Angel, My Forever
He soothed, holding her close
His own agenda still playing in his head
Falling, tumbling, she simply gave in
Gave up her everything
For his promise of
A forever that couldn't exist.

I'm sorry, don't leave me
Her screams cut like a knife
To no avail she cried and begged
But he's had his fill
And turned
And walked away
Used, abused and torn
With a forever, that couldn't exist.
