A wonderful life is waiting for you
It has a heart and soul
And it moves like a tree
The wind may blow and push it around
But the beauty remains on the inside

The muscles are strong and will hold you tight
You will feel safe in the deep of night
Wrap up warm and feels so right
Be free and let it all go
Your only chance for ecstasy

The lungs will fill you with breeze
Coming from the bluest dark sky
Breathing in a life of flowers
And letting your insides sing
Deep red oxygen in your skin

The mind will never ache again
Painting pictures of rainbows and wings
Free to roam and to be alone
You have it all if your brain is free
Total beauty is yours, You will see.

Thank you

Sir, this is one of my VERY favorites... Speaks to a part of me that desperately needed to hear these words. Thank you...

There's an unsettling tension in this poem,

a too good to be true quality, that I really like. The last line seems like something of an empty promise because life is never all perfect--and that odd ending following all these wonderful promises makes your poem, to me, rather special. Keep working on your writing: I think you have a talent for it. :-)
