Laughter falls
Where tears should be

Cold indifference
Inside of me

Cold-hearted
Is how I feel

Seething anger
I harbor still

That sense of loss
Is fading away

Distrust once more
Is here to stay

Turning my back
To what once was there

Most of all
I no longer care

Heartless bitch
Is now her name

Being friends
A heartless game

Love gone ~ just friends - never. The end terrible in its finality.

And the proper answer to the proposition that,

"We can still be friends," is

No, we can't;

Of course you may want to use a more colorful expression with which to make your point.

Nice Portrayal

A good portrayal of a familiar feeling that we'd rather not know;)
