A rise and fall of open mind
Clear channels to hear resound
The cycle living as ever onward

Receiving fractions alone
Without encompassing

Tightrope racing with glee
Through a sensory cascade
Not a flinch or hesitation

Accept without exception
Leave receiving aside

Falling away to start anew
Necessary self-sacrifice end
A mind recycled in time

I can see

why Des likes you, these are word blocks, blocks has two meanings, see Ange's comments

I have a negative reaction to this line (I don't know why)

Leave receiving aside

I agree....

....with Ange, this has a peaceful, accepting quality to it. Very different from your more intense works. Five.

You seem to be moving in different directions in some of your poems

which I think is really good. Are you consciously pushing yourself to new places in your writing? Seems like you are. This, to me, is just an incredible statement about healing and acceptance. I had to read it a few times to get how well it works. It seemed a bit disconnected at first read--like not enough transition words. But with each reread it seems stronger to me. I think it's a poem that has to sink in on a reader.

Well done!
