the world is full of men
but I know beyond a doubt
my true love is the only one
I could never live without

he's created a world for me
to hide away from life
all while crossing off the days
'til I get to be his wife

no matter who smiles at me
and bats his pretty eyes
I know my true love is the best
my life's greatest prize

Consider me blind and deaf
when other men come around
to my true love I will be true
a loyal woman he has found

No, not creepy. Just misunderstood.

This true love of yours sounds a little creepy.
