If I could go back that the lovely day
before my dratted body got this way
Laugh and sing and flirt a merry dance
small things while I still had the chance.
But sit I now and moulder in my chair
damn and curse at life which isn't fair,
While all around do greet the summer sun
I'm stuck inside just sitting on my bum.
They're wearing dresses now of every hue
I cover up clad only in a different blue.
Now I've found, it doesn't do to moan
however pissed off I get I'm still alone.
To tell it once they say the oohs and aah
recount more, sighs show I went too far.
With glazing eyes a fidget in the seat
nobody's got an interest enough in feet.
The dog who once was by my side just sat
her role in life seems now to knock me flat.
Yes what you're thinking now is very true
this shit's written so you're pissed off too!
