A smile and a gurgle,
Can make perfect your day,
From the smallest of creatures,
With no way.…..

Of knowing the joy,
A baby’s cute smile can bring
Like the freshest of wet dew....
On a bended leaf ..... In early spring

Like the sun stretching, and rising up,
With its piercing orangey bright hue,
Or a warm welcoming smile,
From someone cute and new.

Like a mouth tingling, mid morning coffee,
Served ‘oh’ just so right,
And a heavy, soft muffin, with berries,
All fluffy and light.

Like a long lazy lunch with a friend,
Full of catch-ups and tales.
Absorbing penetrating sunrays;
And admiring females.

Like a long, leisurely, stroll in the park,
In the lateness of day,
Hand in soft, clasping hand with a lover,
With plenty to say…..

Like listening to gently, soft spoken words,
Full of description and surprise.
Swimming through her words,
And reacting with your own bright eyes.

Like seeing the lazy late sun,
Graciously bow because soon.
As the day wisps and meanders away,
There’ll be a glowing full moon.

Like hearing the soft subtle tones,
Of a forgotten, loved tune.
Smelling the embracing evening scent,
Of roses in late June.

Like the pestering evening bird song,
That completely fills the end of day,
Twittering and tweeting sweet melodies,
They have so much to say.

Like educated, moonlight, dancing shadows,
Late at night, guiding the way.
Dancing to dark night steady rhythms,
Home from a lovely day,

Like freshly laundered, fluffy white sheets,
To rest your tired and weary head.
Moulding to every shape of your aching body.
In the most comfortable bed.

Like an night-time of the most expressive, intricate dreams,
Full of hopes, wishes and simple pleasure,
And loose freedom, and adventure,
Unreal memories to treasure.

That’s what my babies smile and gurgle remind me of,
Deepest unconditional love in every way.
From the start to the end,
Of every single, bright shiny day.

Very nicely put together

With many pleasing descriptive phrases

Of the wonders of your baby's smile;

As seen here, it's more like overkill

The reader losses sight of the objective;

This could be made much more effective with

A poem that's about half its length.
