A Nymph in the Wood

bysaber6©

When on a walk through
the wood,
Where once, red trees had stood.
A nymph lay asleep on a rock
My approach wakes her up with a shock
So she ran off as fast as she could.

Chasing after her as if the wind
Until against a rock she is pinned.
She was so pretty
It would’ve been a pity
Not to have seen that body again.
Sensing I meant no harm,
She extends a slender arm.
And much to my delight
She takes my hand real tight
Greeting with a smile to disarm

I asked her, her name
And she said this refrain,
“No name is required,
You found me unattired.
Your wish is my command.
So please take my hand.
For I now what you need,
Come plant your warm seed.
