To the Son of Alcumus,
my father’s trusted friend,

I am sending you
four poems of mine.
I want you to read
them. Spend as much
or as little time
as you want
or need with them.
Then I want you
to respond, not
with your words,
but with one
of the following:

keep writing or

stop, son, stop.

Yours,
truly.

~S&D

inside view.

A poet turns to an old friend for advice ~ in the process he involves his readers. Write - don't write ~ shouldn't that be your decision?

And the question is?

By all means, keep writing!
