If I could pull a star from the sky
that would be my guilding beacon to you
I would set it like a diamond
in a band of golden sunlight
to chase away the rain and keep you warm
on the coldest of days.

If I could pull down moonbeams
I would weave them like silk
and color them with a sunset
to make you a robe to match your beauty.

I would do that for you, Koula.
Because I love you.
