A SHOT RANG OUT
By sexy_bosoxgirl

A shot rang out
He was brought to his knees
Standing before him
A vision he couldn’t see
He looked himself over
No blood he has seen
It felt like a bullet
Ripping, tearing, into his being
The vision walked closer
Reached out and touched his cheek
A shiver suddenly took over
What did this vision mean
He looked up
Into a glorious glow
Was it a dream
This question took hold
The vision smiled
The pain began to ache
Not in a sharp
But in a pulsating pace
It spread like wildfire
Through his body it did take
His eyes shot open
The vision had been erased
He looked over and saw her
The woman whose heart he belonged
He moved closer
And the hurt was gone
It was his love for her
That shot through him
Such a glorious pain
