Tiny book in my hand
fits in my pocket
with a pen -
a constant friend.
Packed with secrets, and
sometimes lies,
I even surprise myself from
time to time.
Creature of habit, I grab it
before heading out
the door to places I’ve
never been before, under
the skies, wide-eyed
and waiting

Writing.

The simple pleasure of keeping a notebook ~ logging the days events both great and small ~ for private pleasures ~ and reading later.

A lifetime of taking notes;

No telling what you'll find.
