A Tapestry of Three Poems:
Chastised Silence…
Early Morning Rain (En Francais)…
Aftermath…

___________________________________________

There is pain in the silence
                               of your turned back…

whisps de velours de nuit
les nuances fanées
du chute-de-lune...

                Two lie together, limbs entwined
as salty rivulets trail to semen seas
basked in firelight. The passion dwindles.

                                I am chastised, tears hidden
                                and mostly silent…

le matin infantile frappe
la joue de la veille rassemblant
de ce fait le soleil

Some say this is when the sky burns hottest
and desire dries dead upon the lips…
hair sticks to skin and the embers blacken.

There is something cruel in that heat,
                                that accursed cold…

bercez l'enfant
dans des bras froissés
comme le jour pleure faiblement...

To lie together, caked in sticky salt,
a sleeping puddle in the sweat of earth…
the virgin stain of Eve and the serpent.

It is the closest thing to death
                                that I can think of…

Stunning creative and moving

So ecclectic and erotic ... the changing and unique style calls to the true essence of a forgotten language.. I love those who twist the rules and stand out from the norm this is a work of art... Thank you for sharing it! A thousand bravos!

to Canada, eh?

jd4, one of the reasons I like you so much, is the risk taking, this is risky, yet retains a firm anchour on the real.

As always, I bow to the master
