A Taste of The Night

Wild and free she wears the night
Like a cloak of shadows
Like a velvet skin
Like wisps of satin dripping with sin

Soft and warm she hides from sight
Awash in the moonglow
Reviling the day
Playing at evil and having her way

Wicked and dark deliciously right
Wrapped in her wiles
Wrapped in the lies
Enraptured, ensnared, my innocence dies

With trembling hand I give up the fight
To open the window
To open my veins
As blood flows in rivers in exquisite pain

And with a wicked grin;

I want to taste you.
