The sound of your voice
Sends ripples of warmth over my skin
As a pebble in still water.

It lifts me to soar in thick clouds of passion,
My senses taken from me
But I writhe in the contentment of absolute trust.

It drives me through searing heat,
The burn of your hands touching my flesh
Or merely the sting of electric kisses.

It conveys me through the killing frost
Of your displeasure,
Of my thoughtless disobedience.

Then it blankets me with warm security
As you bring me back from all these extremes
Riding the waves of your pitch & timbre.
