OH a walk in the park on a bright sunny day is such an enjoyable task
The grass is green the flowers in bloom and the scent is quite aromatic
With you on my arm and a smile on your face there is nothing more I could ask
We cross over a brook on a bridge made of stone and I stop to steal a kiss
There is blush in your cheeks as you stand in that place and I try to be diplomatic
And then up on your toes reaching up to my chin as ardor wins over your fears
Nothing surpasses a walk in the park above all with a young miss
Especially if it's a sweet young lass who gives out kisses as souvenirs

I love playful meter...

a cute little story set to a playful meter. There's no need to overthink it...it's deliberate and confident in what it is. It took a second read before the 6th line flowed like the others. I think it had to do with so many monosyllabic words slowing down my pace. Great write, though.
