you want my cheeks
streaked with hot tears
that you've created,
you want my eyes
crazed from a psyche
that you've broken,
you want my lips
trembling with fears
that you have sown,
but time doesn't
sum to the present
and our moment
is nearly done.
I don't give a damn
where I'm going.
the sun is shining
and I feel pretty.
