Come to me!
on a cold dark night
with a full moon howling
in a clear Alaskan sky.

Walk with me,
on the coastal trail
where the footprints are few
in the woods by the shore.

Talk with me,
tell me secrets
that only lovers can know
in soft whispers to my waiting ear.

Dance with me,
our steps so slow and close
will snap the winter stillness
and proclaim our rising boldness.

Come with me,
to share the joy
in a rush of hurried heat
on a glistening blanket of snow!
