Lurching horror shambling into the weakened light
Malformed and immense a mind numbing abomination
A sight that hurts the brain
Howling in agony a life not meant to be
Forgotten by sanity and purged by madness

Scrabbling at the edges of reality
An outsider fighting to get in
     Terror from beyond the stars
Trying to force its way into our existence
Struggling to become real in our world

Screeching at the macroverse from the absence of matter
Whistling through teardrop blink of eternity
     Waiting forevermore in silence
Shapeless formless mass of raw energy
Nightmare of the sentient id

A fallacy that injures the consciousness
To see it is to lacerate the artery of reason
     Damage sanity by simply being
Mental carrion the calling card left in its wake
A black flag waving in the face of logic

Anguish a simple side effect of briefest contact
A plague of despair and rampant discord
     A pox on organized thought
Decaying neural structure and corrosion of synapse
Eroding rationale inexorable rotting of philosophy

Beautifully raw, with such haunting imagery. Thank you for sharing.
