They say shadows come from the light,
Without the light there would be no shadows,
But when darkness come the shadows are undone,
And when the light comes again,
Are they the same shadows my friend?

Death in sleep has taken us until we awake,
Still everything has move in time and space,
When the morning light sheds its grace,
We are never in the same place,
Concerning time and space.

We did not create ourselves,
Nor did we give each other shadows,
We can not uncreate ourselves,
But in death we have shadows no more,
Whether in dreams or abstract realities.

endings

Death erases the shadows we never created in the first place. The grave is the great equalizer ~ no respecter of persons.

~~

In death, you have no shadows

Not when you're six feet under.
