The deeper we fall,
down, down,
into the darkness below the moonlit night
The mmon shines like the light of a million souls searching in the night
looking for those left behind, but not forgotten
it is pain to watch them
shifting their shadowless features
falling into resolution
Dreams of the past haunt mr,
seeing the faces of those yet to live,
who have lived before
it grows deeper
farther
yet nearer it comes
ever circkling
like a broken mirror
the shards all pointing up
do you see your reflection
as not was
in the light of the cloudness night?
can you see the future in the wisps of cist
following you closer to home?
i call to the sweetness that is death,
hoping he'll claim me as his own
the life we lead so false
why do we need to escape death?
to live it to err as to die is to be free
what can we do but walk the earth not alive
but already dead

life.

Some lost souls walking this earth ~ are already dead.

~~

Seems a bit of a depressingly cynical read.
