(Note: To feel the full impact of this poem, read it while listening to Hilary Duff's song "Stranger". Don't even pay attention to her lyrics. Just let the beat carry you along. ^.- I must have listened to that song 50 times in a row to write this. Hahahaha. Good thing no one was home when I did, or they would have gone insane. ^.^ This poem is initially about physical attraction and/or sexual intrigue to the 'bad boy', who also happens to be a very good friend of mine, which every woman has known at least once in her life, and more than likely been drawn to for inexplicable reasons. In my case, I was able to resist where the woman featured here is not. Hahaha. Poor girl. Anyway, enjoy.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How is it that you can make me want you like this?
What hold do you have over me?
How can I break free from your grasp,
and once I do, how will I stay away?
Your intensity disturbs me, yet it makes me want you more
-and the darkness in your soul is frighteningly seductive.
Your eyes, black as the forest at night, draw me down,
down, deep into the unknown.
Your lips whisper wicked things into my ear
and a shiver of unease races up my spine,
where your clever fingers seduce me.
The words, soft and haunting,
murmured against my heated flesh;
teeth nip, teasing, warning,
and I spiral down into ecstasy.
Your tongue arches me up into heaven
and bells ring inside my head
before I plunge into the fire that you stoke within me.
You lunge like a hungry animal
caged behind propriety and freed by the scent
of fear and excitement that perfumes the thick air.
I inhale lust and you breathe the sweetness of surrender,
heady as the feel of my blood racing beneath my skin.
I am blind to everything but how you make me feel,
and helpless in the face of your desire.
Shadows flicker at the edge of my vision,
hungry and knowing,
waiting impatiently for the moment when I cross the line
between what I know is safe and what I fear.
And yet, with a crook of your finger
and a lift of your brow, I go wherever you lead,
though it may lead me to destruction.
I scream hoarsely as you tie me into knots
and your will chains me to your side.
I am your possession and your queen,
bound as surely as the Earth is bound in the gravity of the Sun,
and every time you say you love me it is another lock
ensuring my submission.
Darkness blooms in my heart
and I shatter, flung into the flames, consumed, lost.
You put me back together until I do not recognize the face
reflected in your grin.
Yummy Writing!
I wouldn't name it a poem; however,
it does make me want to be him! :+))
