It started as
Just a fling,
But soon events
Started happening:

A certain smile,
A gentle caress,
A sweet compliment
On my new dress.

We fell in love-
It felt so right,
But love is blind
And from my sight

You became entranced
With something new,
And your passion
Grew and grew.

But not for me,
For your drug
And I was swept
Under rug.

My song of love-
Erased line by line;
Coke was your addiction,
And you were mine.
