nibbling the fringes of your molten core
anxious to dive deep
reprepost erotic
competition and cost
love and stain

victories torn away
small smiles remain
volume stunning gait
stems that invite simulation

A retired engineer is
attempting to steer the train
through tunnels, behind the billboard
where the same pins strut across the tracks
the fans reach
                out
       and such, richly animated

my fear encourages dilution,
sea change, rebel flirtation
all those shuns

Great Big Museums
little tiny collections
no such group
then dust

exercise in these public lands
occupy through air and spark

evolving.

The ebb and flow of life ~ Victories - Defeats sometimes little reason to smile.

you seem

reflective and somehow distant, different in this poem, a bit unlike your others, which I also adore..may need to read this again, and again :)
