I wonder why I hold on to the past
Why I let you haunt me so
The mistakes I made eat at my soul
They curse my future
I am sorry to my beyond
Please forgive me
So that I may go on
I deserve to find my new lover
I deserve to go my own way
I deserve to be set free by you
But you keep your hands around my throat
For fun?
My wings are clipped
