the day is done
she walks alone
she feels as though
she has no home

again and again
she's tried and tried
each one she thinks
"maybe this time"

again and again
he disappears
no word from him
she sheds a tear

they never tell her
why they leave
they walk out the door
without a thought for she

she feels as though
she has no pride
but still she tries
"maybe this guy"

they talk, they laugh
they enjoy as friends
they build a relationship
maybe this one won't end?

and then one day
she wakes and smiles
she sees him there
and waves across the miles

he barely looks at her
then looks away
and runs off shouting
"maybe later babe"

she's hurt but waits
maybe he's busy
she waits and waits
but he can't be that busy

days go by
no word at all
and then she realizes
it's not him at all

it must be her
for this never ends
it happens to her
again and again

Again.

Again ~ this can't be happening again - but it is.

~~

And then of course there is this little secret

The harder you try, the quicker you'll scare 'em;

Heads you lose, tails you don't win.

i feel like this alot!

This type of thing always happens to me. I even started dating a guy who just swept me off my feet and then came to tell me he was married. Or i got the ones that only called me at like 2 in the morning. I always wondered what i did wrong to deserve men like this so i can totally relate to it.
