I am sitting here; the pain invading my light.
What I would give to have the light back.
But the pain, it is too near now.
I'm losing this fight, losing the war.

I would give anything to feel alive,
To feel the blood flow in my veins;
instead of this burning pain.
I feel like a shell of life.

I walk around with a blank face.
The pain hidden by a calm mask.
Inside begging to be alive.
Crying out to anything to save me.

I'm so far gone, life seems like a memory.
I am dead inside, not feeling anything.
All I feel is the depression that rules my heart.
And distantly a voice calls in my heart.

Help me be alive.
