In the darkest of night
She searches for a light
To come and set her free
She listens for a sound
But there’s no one around
No one to hear her plea
Many tears she cries
Lost in so many lies
The darkness takes her hand
Tangled in despair
No one really cares
Just another grain in the sand

Sadness

An infinitesimal estimation of oneself ~ sunken to unheard of depths of despair.l

Anonymity lost in a punctuationless poem; seems to work if you're just another grain of sand.
