I can't get you off my mind
Sometimes I feel like I can't breath when
thoughts of You go through my head.
I see Your face in the puddles after a soft
summer rain, in my mind when I close my eyes
and in my dreams You are never far away.
I hear Your voice when I am feeling lonley or
sad, always telling me everything will be
alright.. and You are there.
I still can feel Your arms around me so
tight, holding me so close and safe, never
wanting You to let go.
I can still remember looking in Your eyes
and feeling like I would get lost there
forever. Your smile that I traced with
my fingers.
I can still feel the tears roll down my
cheek, You looking in my eyes, rubbing
over them with Your fingers. Smiling
You asked me why I was crying.
I knew I had to go and wished time would
just stand still so I could be in Your
arms forever.
