By Way Of Introduction
An American Sibylline
(with thanks to William Blake)

decidedly
enigmatic
deliciously
ambiguous

definitely
a good bi-girl
delectably
hedonistic

I've seen the world
in grains of sand
best known it thrust
between my thighs

devilishly
irreverent
I've seen Heaven
in wildflowers

tasted it in
the flavors of
flowing juices
from both genders

defiantly
unrepentant
I've played craps with
Infinity

kissing while I rolled
breasts and scrotums
between my lips
and in my hands

dementedly
drunk on vision
I have tortured
and been tortured

until all of
Eternity
converged into
a single hour

disturbingly
driven to know
what Mind behind
libido lurks

to know me is
to fear yourself
even after
I've gone away

haunting dreams from
heights and depths of
our passion's wrench
phantom scents

murmurs heard when
sleep eludes you
peripheral glances
of one not there

what I've taken
what left behind
you'll not forget
the sibylline
