There was a time when the nights were cold,
The future bleak, secrets left untold.
A heart was locked, love ruled by fear,
Silent cries that no one could hear.

Into this darkness the eagle flew,
With a soul so bright and a heart so true.
She heard the cries and wiped the tears,
Held her close and calmed her fears.

Lit up the dark and showed her love,
Chased the clouds away from the sky above.
Two souls now joined, never to part.
An eternity of love from an eagles heart.
