                         Anger

I forfeited my place.
As the wise and patient one.
Is it simple jealousy?
Anger is too painful for me.
Anger is too pathetic.
But I cannot bear it.
Once loose totally, I cannot defeat it.
And I cannot stop it.
For it has to run its course.
My anger, an uncontrollable force.
I’m at an uncontrollable advantage.
For I can’t make it mine.
An inner emotion, I try to hide.
An inner emotion, I try to manage.
From time to time.
Anger is weak.
If it can’t reach its peak.
For anger needs rage to be set in motion.
And rage needs Fury to complete the potion.
But thus like anger,
I too am weak.

~~

And then, perhaps we need some anger management classes,

Though here our poet seems to have found the key to defusing his anger.
