The blood on my broken skin

mirrors what your mad heart seeks.

I reflect your reckless art;

I am its embodiment.

With your eyes I see inside

every molecule on earth.

I know the stray dog's lust, and

the green touch of nubile moss.

Sunbeams drip from my lips; and

I know what the moon forgets.

Kneeling at the cave's mouth, I

bathe my wounds in nothingness.

My empty sense is attuned

to the mystic's flute. I twirl

to its sweet harmonic, and

slowly fade into the air.
