or like a toe in water
search the concentric rings
too hot – never just right
or cold – such bold adoxography.
Never vindictive? Lies called
fact in the name of virtue
in an acerbic spirit of fun?
Categorize it as fiction, still
truth should remain true, yet
ignorance becomes the science
of accusation, the weapon of deceit
notwithstanding the nightly
weeping phantom zeros, ones
repeated and again ad nausea.
Ignorance remains the science,
the doctrine the rest best
endure each time a whining,
righteous liar touches the keys.
