You are special to me, my friend
My choice, to be with you 'til the end

I will fight for you with every ounce of my soul
Long past the time when it’s taken its toll

My life’s not complete without you in it
You keep me sane when life's gone to shit

You give me purpose, a reason to be
You help me believe when I can no longer see

My faith has grown, beyond belief
Because I have you to guide me, to my relief

I won't give you up so stop pushing away
It doesn't matter to me what others might say

Our friendship’s unusual and surreal
It's what gives living my life such appeal

I'd be lost without you, adrift in the sea
Of loneliness and despair, you set me free

You alone have helped me to grow
Beyond where I thought I wanted to go
