As your fingers dance across my body
i feel as if i'm the only one in the world
As You teach me and train me
i feel as if i am all that matters
As i sit on my knees,
Look up at You in sweet surrender
i know that i can trust You
With my safety, my soul.

You show me things about myself
That i try to fight and deny
You bring them to the surface
So they can escape
And i can become the woman
You know i can be.
You show me how to be
How to live, how to serve.

You help me let go
You help me chase away the darkness
That rests in my soul
In just a few short days
i feel as if i've grown
Knowing i have it in me to obey
To surrender and to trust
The way i obey, surrender to and trust You.

Our journey has just begun
And i've yet to see the things - the pleasure
You have to show me.
Such rights can only be earned
But until i do so
i await your instruction
Kneeling here at Your feet
Knowing You will take me to new heights.
