~ Autumn Winds ~

Her words apon the autumn winds
tugging at my heart again
Though I know, in truth of fact
she's gone, and she's not coming back
In rustling leaves I call her name
as tears pervade the autumn rains
Southbound birds watch in despair
at arms outstreched, to no one there
Leaving naught but memories
to mingle with the autumn breeze
