"Bitter Lessons in Adoration, Devotion, Eros and Sacrifice"

A splinter in time
Lost in the love of my youth
When my body was your temple
And worship was daily

A thorn in my side
Adrift in the error of my ways
When your word was truth
And I believed no other

A sword in my heart
Vanished in the sum of your betrayal
When my soul was damned
And faith was crushed

A blade in my hand
Without in the hesitation of my action
When my blood was balm
And guilt was assuaged

A beacon in my dark
Strong in the resolve of lessons learnt
When my heart was broken
Yet a beat was still heard

You paint

Or should I say carve a haunting darkness, the language as Oneiria said is beautiful

I stumbled on

Without in the hesitation of my actions ?

Still a five and the acronym is a poem in itself :-)

intense

All of life's a lesson, learn and grow, accept and move forward, grieve and forgive.
