Ballerina

byjthserra©

An infinite ballet
dancing over the miles
appears to me, then gone
in a pirouette.

Misty-eyed mornings
you emerge
taking me
in an invisible dance.

In slow steps
to music only we can hear
we lace in the dance
only we can see.

And then, as suddenly,
you spin once,
blow a misty kiss
and dance away... invisibly.
