A broken heart still beats
The same steady rhythm
Slightly muffled through the pain
But it's strong and true
Trying to find the strength
To walk away from mistakes
Including the very same one
That caused the heart to break
It's an ongoing battle
Sometimes it's easier to just hide
But I will beat this feeling
If it takes the rest of my life
