I read alot...
but never saw it in a book
I think alot...
but never remember it in my thoughts

I felt it...during bright spring sunshine
warm with fragrence of grass and earth
while washing down a beer and watching the world pass by
it hit me like a bomb....a god bomb
concussions pushing my hand to a pen
scribbling the aftermath on paper....

if you want to live...
truly live...not this bullshit called day by day
traveled by mummies and zombies
shuffling their feet
not this luke warm comfy feeling
one where once had burned pure fire
flames flowing outward burning all in it's path
fuck no....not this garbage called existing
then listen up...

remember back......
way long ago...to golden evenings and starry nights
times when it was better to be alive then dead
before the world convinced you the impossible was a dream
and all dreams impossible
lust, love....it was all the same before real life taught you
a mere repitition...

reach back in your soul, your heart, your mind
to another time....
when the stars were more then pinpoints of light
a time when the others hand was molten within your own
songs so loud so pure so true
Rock and Roll was your essence
days lasted forever
nights for eternity
in a back seat,
a friends house,
a hotel room
with a bottel,
a joint, a carress...........
go there...in your mind...live it once again
they were the glory days,
I don't need to be jesus to die on a cross to deliever
just moments of those times to your mind...

We were young...strong and free...
bending to none...not even the wildest winds...
we were eternity....our bodies hot
cravings so deep...they ruled heart beats......
is it all gone in hands full of years??
FUCK NO!!!!!!!!!!!
Never!!!!!!!!!!!
ever!!!!!!!!!!
The years pass...
but not the feelings....
it's BURNED...in our minds our bodies....
It was yesterday if it was twenty
it's tomorrow if it's a day....

DON'T give in...
Don't let it die....
RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
before the dying of the light

never make the mistake
of listening to society...so polite and gentle....
If you wanna live for ever then do it in all you do
if you wanna live on...past the dying light
then give all reason..
I do mean all...
for remembering you!
Love each woman like she's your reputation!
Work each shift like it's your destination...
Rock to every song, like you've never heard it before...
define yourself by each moment you live
and give to each moment all the moments you've lived...

You see my friend...
light does'nt die...
it burns on past
the spans that determine ourselves
fires the imagination
fills the dreams
of those who are
those who will be....
if you live...
then live in the now

Always RAGE...before the dying...of the...LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Going quietly! Not!

Another soul who doesn't wish to go quietly into that good night ~ so rage on.

~~

Sounds like a boomer on a mission to reignite the passions of the other boomers. So he goes on and on and on, ellipses proliferate, raging consumes, and on and on and on. You get the picture.
